Cherry Grove is mostly two kinds of house — older single-story beach cottages running back from the channel, and the newer three-story raised builds going up north of 53rd. Both have the same enemy: south- and east-facing windows that take the morning sun and the afternoon heat all year, plus the salt air working on everything year-round.
